Parents with purpose

Meet Sarah Dantzer

When Sarah moved from Edmonton to Prince Rupert, BC, one of the things that struck her was the lack of traditional neighbourhoods in her new community.

Soon something else struck Sarah: an aerial photograph of a local park so overgrown and litter-strewn it was hard to imagine anything else being there. The impulse to do something led Sarah to found the Rupert Rubbish Roundup, combining connection and clean-up to strengthen social bonds and beautify the city.
